Generate a Copy Transaction Data report
The Copy Transaction Data report lets you extract information about copy transactions in an XML format.
You can then import the XML into a number of applications. For instance, you can import the file into a spreadsheet program, delete any columns you don't want, and then sort and filter the data to create custom lists and reports.
To generate the report:
- Select Reports > Library Reports.
- Under Statistics, click Copy Transaction Data.
- Enter a date range.
Note: You can limit to one title, author, subject, or call number or a range.
- All dates: Leave both fields blank.
- One date: Enter the same date in both fields.
- Up to and including a specific date: Leave the From field blank, and enter it in the to field.
- A specific date: Enter it in the From field, and leave the to field blank.
- To Include in-library use for copies only used in the library, select the checkbox.

To Include associated Patron Data, select the checkbox.
Note: This checkbox only appears for users with the Access library checkout history
orAccess media checkout history
permission. - Click Extract. The Report Manager appears.

Find your report, and then:
- Click the View link.
- Download the file by clicking XML.

- Transaction Type: Checkouts, check-ins, circulation blocked messages
- Renewals
- Holds placed
- Reserves placed
- Fine created, paid, deleted, or waived
- Copies marked Lost
- Date
- Time
- Title
- LCCN
- ISBN
- ISSN
- Material Type
- Publication Year
- Copy Barcode Number
- Call Number
- Circulation Type
- Patron Type
- Transaction Amount
- Transaction Balance
- Originator User ID (person who performed the transaction)
- Originator First Name (person who performed the transaction)
- Originator Last Name (person who performed the transaction)
If you choose to extract the associated patron data, the file also includes the following information for each transaction:
- Patron's Last Name
- Patron's First Name
- Patron's Middle Name
- Patron Barcode Number
- Patron's District ID
